Welcome Early Adopters!

The CEDARS support team is excited to be able to share another great communication method with the CEDARS LEA Trainers!

When we met last fall for functional training we had some pretty great conversations about ideas to leverage already existing resources and materials to train staff to work with the longitudinal database.

One idea that came up at almost every location during our brainstorming session was to create a wiki for the LEA trainers. This tool will allow us to collaborate more freely throughout the state.

This domain has been created for CEDARS LEA Trainers to network with their counterparts across the state. While this wiki is for professional use, it is an informal place to share ideas, tips and hopefully any materials you have found helpful. The intent of this wiki to be interactive - please feel free to start discussions, add pages and documents and ask questions of each other.

The first document I’ve posted to the new wiki site is the compilation of the brainstorm sessions. The word document simply lists the answers to the questions posed during that segment of our time together. At this point I think is serves as an excellent reminder about the possibilities of how well we can work together.

A template page has already been created. The ‘My Profile’ template can be used to share contact information directly from the wiki. Please take a moment to add a profile page to start acquainting yourself with how the wiki works.

There is no ‘right’ way to use a wiki. The great thing about this is that we will build this from the ground up, together.
